STEM experiments + project-based learning

Who this is for

Experiments, engineering challenges, and real projects for children who are ready to ask a question, build an answer, and improve it.

How children learn

Children learn by questioning, designing, building, testing, and sharing. We take their ideas seriously and give them materials, time, and a thoughtful guide.

STEM and project-based learning. Science, engineering, mathematics, technology, coding, robotics, nature, and sustainability. The process is Question → Research → Design → Build → Test → Improve → Present.

Example activities

  • Science investigations
  • Engineering challenges (bridges, towers, machines)
  • Mathematics in real problems
  • Introductory coding and robotics
  • Nature and sustainability projects
  • Design challenges
  • Real-world problem solving

What parents notice

  • Children practise thinking like scientists and designers
  • They learn that first attempts can be improved
  • Teamwork and clear communication are part of every project
  • Confidence grows when a child can show what they made

Class format

90–120 minute workshops. Children work in small teams or independently, with a short briefing, a long making period, and time to present what they built.

Parent participation

Parents drop off. You are welcome to stay for the last 10 minutes to see the share-out. We will message you if your child needs you.
