Listen, move & respond to sounds

In Sounds Around Us, babies and toddlers explore the world of sound through listening, movement and hands-on play. Children will discover different sounds using simple instruments and sensory objects. They will shake, tap and listen while exploring differences such as loud and soft, and noticing what happens when they create sounds in different ways. Through music, movement and playful listening games, children begin to connect their actions with the sounds they hear. The activities encourage curiosity, concentration and early sensory development in a gentle and age-appropriate environment.

Can we see air?

Can we see air? What happens when we trap it, blow it or use it to move something? In Air Detectives, children become little scientists as they explore something that is all around us but cannot be seen: air! Through playful, hands-on experiments, children will discover that even though air is invisible, we can observe what it does. They will experiment with an upside-down cup in water, create bubbles, blow and move different objects, and take on a fun Wind Challenge where they have to figure out how to make an object move using only air. Children are encouraged to predict what might happen, test their ideas and discover the answers through experimentation. A playful introduction to STEM that turns an everyday concept into an exciting scientific discovery.

Build a Bridge – Can You Build a Bridge That Holds Weight?

What makes a bridge strong? Why do engineers use triangles and supports? And how much weight can your own bridge hold? In Build a Bridge, children step into the role of young engineers and take on a real STEM challenge: designing and building a bridge that can hold weight. We begin by exploring different shapes and structures to discover what makes them strong. Children will experiment with triangles, supports and different ways of distributing weight before sketching their own bridge design. Then it is time to build! Once their bridge is complete, children will put it to the test by gradually adding weight and observing what happens. If the bridge bends, moves or collapses, that is all part of the engineering process. Children will investigate what went wrong, redesign their structure and try again. A hands-on STEM challenge where creativity, engineering and problem-solving come together.

Nature Touch & Feel

In Nature Touch & Feel, babies and toddlers discover nature through their sense of touch. Children will explore a sensory basket filled with safe natural materials and experience different textures, shapes and sizes. They can touch, hold and investigate materials while discovering simple differences such as rough and smooth or big and small. Through hands-on sensory play, movement and simple language, children are encouraged to explore nature at their own pace while developing their senses, curiosity and fine motor skills.

Little Builders

n Little Builders, children become young engineers as they explore how to build structures that are strong, balanced and stable. Children will experiment with different building materials, create towers and test what happens when their structures become too tall or unbalanced. Instead of simply being shown how to build, they will be encouraged to observe why something falls and think about how they can improve it. For their building challenge, children will use what they have discovered to design and build a shelter for a toy animal. Through building, testing and trying again, children experience an important part of STEM learning: discovering that when something doesn't work the first time, we can change our design and try a new solution.
